Tinkers Lakeside Lodge - Self-Catering Villa - Sleeps 16 is just 30 minutes from Kruger National Park. Minimum price for first 4 guests and charged per person thereafter. Renowned wildlife photographers, Andy & Lorrain Tinker's African lodge - Tinkers Lakeside Lodge has luxurious, creative rooms/patios overlooking pool & beautiful lake. Private chefs to cook and look after you during your stay and to take you on sundowner boat cruises/BBQ's on the lake. Out of malaria/heat belt area and perfectly located for Kruger Safaris/activities e.g. Elephant interaction. 30min from Kruger Park/Panorama Route. Squash court. Great bird-life. Private! On Secure Estate.

Harry and Vusi, both chefs are cheerful, accommodating and eager to please. They will be there to welcome you and look after you like gold. 1. Bring your own food and beverages or order online from Woolworths and your groceries will be delivered to the lodge. (by Woolworths). Cleaning, washing of dishes, making of beds included. Sunset Boat cruises on large pontoon boat. Boat has a water slide for kids and a braai, bar, tables and chairs. Fishing for bass. Rods and lures available. R800/hour for entire boat (takes 16 people)

This is a peaceful and quiet estate. Please respect the environment and the people around. Please do not wander onto neighbouring properties. Please no smoking indoors.

Large, airy, light - unique, African designed villa with attention to detail. Hand made lights/ railings, staircase by renowned sculptor. Stonework throughout. Wood fireplace. Perfect for families/friends and large groups. All beds are extra length. Linen in bedrooms is top quality. Large bedrooms are as follows

1. Giant Kingfisher Family Suite - 2 adjoining rooms with 1 en suite bathroom. Has one with King bed and adjoining room either with couches - Pvt sitting room - or 2 three quarter beds for kids.

2. Fish Eagle Suite Sleeps 2 - Queen

3. Wagtail Suite Sleeps 2 - 2 single beds (can be converted to King)

4. Bee Easter Suite Sleeps 2 ( 2 single beds - can be converted to King)

5. Hadeda Suite - 2 single beds - (can be converted to King)

6. Bushbaby Suite - separated from main house by courtyard - 2 adjoining rooms with 1 en suite bathroom including outdoor shower. Has 2 single beds that can be converted to King bed and adjoining room (with two 3/4 beds for kids).

Access to entire house and garden in the estate, which has an electrified fence, as well as Dagama Dam for swimming an boating.Separate Entrance Downstairs entertainment room with table tennis and tv. Undercover parking for 3 cars. Squash court. Very private and on a secure estate.

ACTIVITIES ARRANGED. MODIFIED ACCORDING TO NEEDS.

The ideal time to stay is 3 days or longer to experience the best of the area.

DAY 1. ELEPHANT INTERACTION. Meet and interact with these giant, majestic animals. Riding the elephants is also an option LUNCH at Perry's Bridge (large choice of Restaurants). REPTILE PARK after lunch with a snake demonstration. SUNSET CRUISE on return to Dagama.

DAY 2. KRUGER SAFARI (full day, half day) on private, open safari vehicle

DAY 3. ZIP LINE (aerial Cable trail). Relax at Dagama, BBQ on boat/swimming/bird watching, fishing

DAY 4. CHIMP EDEN. The Jane Goodall Institute. Followed by lunch at KAAPSCHEHOOP. (beautiful, small, quaint town with wild horses). Excellent food served at Bohemian Restaurant. Can book HORSE RIDES at Kaapschehoop.

DAY 5. Tour GOD'S WINDOW BOURKE'S LUCK POTHOLES THREE RONDAVELS PILGRIMS REST Lunch in GRASKOP (at Harry's Pancakes - serves excellent sweet and savoury pancakes)

DAY 6. RAFTING, WHITE WATER TUBING, QUAD BIKING, HORSE TRAILS, ARCHERY - take your pick.

DAY 7. SUDWALA CAVES TOUR AND DINOSAUR PARK. Followed by LUNCH at Sudwala restaurant Afternoon MOUNTAIN BIKING at Mankele, nearby.

Other activities include LOWVELD BOTANICAL GARDEN visit. HELICOPTER RIDES There are many beautiful GOLF courses in the area. For those requiring a possible adrenalin rush - GOLF available in the Kruger Park ( no fences - with animals including the Big 5 roaming the golf course)

Andy Tinker who supplies the Kruger Park shops and surrounding areas with tourist souvenir maps can be contacted for advice on where to go and what to do. Our Tinkers map book with a detailed, accurate map of the Kruger and surrounding area offers advice on all nearby activities as well as animal and bird information,contact numbers etc. WE WILL ADVISE, ORGANISE AND BOOK ALL ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA.
