Aan De Doorns is a historical farm house with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and farm land - mainly vineyards. Aan De Doorns Guest House is conveniently situated 7km from Worcester and one and a half hours to Cape Town city centre.

Aan de Doorns is a historical Cape Dutch farmstead with spacious art-and-antiquity appointed en-suite bedrooms. For families we have two semi self-catering family units and enough parking for water sport enthusiasts. 

Worcester boasts the largest brandy distillery in the southern hemisphere, tours can be arranged.

Ian and Wendy Adamson, the owner managers ensure you of a hospitable stay.

We serve a full English or a continental breakfast, your choice, in the ambience of true heritage hospitality with preserves and bread from the local community. Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 9:00, Monday to Saturday, and 8:00 until 9:30 on Sunday. 

In summer, the patio, gardens and pool area surrounding the homestead are ideal for relaxation under the ancient pepper trees; enjoy wine-filled sundowners. Our location offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains - Stettyns Mountain, Du Toitskloof, Hex River Mountains, Keerom, Langeberg - vineyards and spectacular sunsets. The winter is for romantics and those that enjoy a glass of good locally produced wine next to a log fire in the cozy reading room. 

The Farm house has:

Lavender Room - This room has a queen-size bed where couples can wake to beautiful mountain views. The en-suite bathroom has both a bath and a shower. The room also has a small library.

Peach Blossom Room - This is one of our family rooms with three beds and a large en-suite bathroom with a shower. The antique built-in cupboards date back from 1860.

Fern Wood Room - This bedroom has a view onto the patio and a small library, this is a double room and the en-suite bathroom has a shower only.

Daffodil Room - The room has a large four-poster queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with original fittings dating back to the late 1900s. This room has the best views in the house.

Wedgewood Room - This room has a large shower and a separate door that enters from the patio and pool areas. The antique door dates back to the mid 1900s.

Mountain View Room - This room has great views onto mountains and it's own stoep sun room with a separate entrance onto the front garden.

Acacia Room - The Acacia room also has a separate room and a private patio with private parking. The front room sleeps two and the main bedroom sleeps two with their own en-suite bathroom. There is a small library leading from the room and visitors can enjoy beautiful mountain views and sunrises from the patio.

Our location on the R43 Villiersdorp road offer magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and spectacular sunsets to be enjoyed with a wine tasting.  Within an hours from Cape Town visitors can participate in a myriad of activities, explore the Robertson Wine Route and scenic drives off the beaten track. 

The Karoo Botanical gardens are worth a visit and has a good restaurant; it is situated close to the Worcester Golf Club. Robertson, Franschhoek, Montague and Tulbagh are nearby and have some world class restaurants and wineries. Hermanus is a one and a half hours journey by car, perfect for whale watching, shark cage diving in Gansbaai and beer tasting in Stanford. Cape Town is an easy journey by car, or take the train, a 4 hour trip through fantastic scenery.
